Kangwon Do
Kangwon Do in the north-east of South Korea is one of the least populated provinces of the country.

The very mountaineous landscape provides many possibilities for hiking and includes Soraksan Nationalpark which might be South Korea's most famous one.

The province's capital is Ch'unch'eon with 300.000 inhabitants. The coastal areas in the south provide very popular beaches.
